Making cartoons with Toontastic is as easy as putting on a puppet show - simply press the record button, move your characters onscreen, and tell your stories through play! Once youre done, Toontastic will play back your animation and voice as a cartoon for you to share with friends and family around the world.

Toontastic teaches key storytelling principles that help to promote Creativity at a young age. Its drawing tools bring kids wildest ideas to life alongside virtual playsets chock full of pirates, princesses, far away galaxies, and many other characters and settings to spark the imagination. Cartoons can be shared online via ToonTube, Toontastics Global Storytelling Network, to help children connect to friends and family and learn about other cultures, customs, and lifestyles through stories created by their peers around the world.

Creating a Cartoon with Toontastic is as Easy as
1. Select a scene on the Story Arc: A Setup, Conflict, Challenge, Climax, or Resolution.
2. Draw your own Setting and Characters, or custom color a Character from our collection of pirates, princesses, swashbucklers, and more.
3. Press the Start Animation button and move your characters around onscreen, telling your story through play. Toontastic will record and play back your animations and your voice as an animated cartoon.
4. Choose the music for your scene by adjusting the scenes Emotional Energy level and plotting out the perfect Story Arc.
5. Title your cartoon and upload it to ToonTube for friends and family to see all around the world!

One of the best cartoon-generator apps!

A cartoon generator app, Toontastic, designed by Launchpad Toys, offers simple features that even a five-year-old could use. Usually cartoon generators are cumbersome, difficult to use apps, but Toontastic is quite different.

The app presents five scenes that users must develop: Set-up, Conflict, Challenge, Climax and Resolution. These scenes teach young users a great lesson in story-building.

Kids must choose the toys, characters and elements to add in each scene. Users can move these elements like finger puppets. They repeat the process at each stage, save the app, and replay.

Toontastic tests the user’s creative thinking and writing skills. A child can use the app independently or with the help of a parent. Users can share the final product with other family members and friends.

On the downside, Toontastic does not provide enough background, artwork or even toys, and users can’t animate their creations. Also, Toontastic takes for granted that the user knows he’s supposed to narrate his story. This is very unclear. The app should add a basic instruction about the narration features.

With room for improvement, this app is still one of the best cartoon generator apps on the market.
